Otherwise you also will be cut off.23En hulle ook, as hulle nie in die ongeloof bly nie, sal ingeënt word; want God is magtig om hulle weer in te ent.κἀκεῖνοι δέ, ἐὰν μὴ ⸀ἐπιμένωσι τῇ ἀπιστίᾳ, ἐγκεντρισθήσονται· δυνατὸς γάρ ⸂ἐστιν ὁ θεὸς⸃ πάλιν ἐγκεντρίσαι αὐτούς.And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.24Want as jy uit die olyf wat van nature wild is, afgekap is en teen die natuur in op 'n goeie olyf ingeënt is, hoeveel te meer sal hulle, die natuurlike takke, op hulle eie olyfboom ingeënt word!εἰ γὰρ σὺ ἐκ τῆς κατὰ φύσιν ἐξεκόπης ἀγριελαίου καὶ παρὰ φύσιν ἐνεκεντρίσθης εἰς καλλιέλαιον, πόσῳ μᾶλλον οὗτοι οἱ κατὰ φύσιν ἐγκεντρισθήσονται τῇ ἰδίᾳ ἐλαίᾳ.For if you were cut from a wild olive tree, and contrary to nature were grafted into one that is cultivated, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!

33O diepte van die rykdom en wysheid en kennis van God! Hoe ondeurgrondelik is Sy oordele en hoe onnaspeurlik Sy weë!Ὦ βάθος πλούτου καὶ σοφίας καὶ γνώσεως θεοῦ· ὡς ἀνεξεραύνητα τὰ κρίματα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀνεξιχνίαστοι αἱ ὁδοὶ αὐτοῦ.O, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and untraceable His ways!34“Want wie het die verstand van die Here geken? Of wie was Sy raadgewer?”aAanhaling uit Jesaja 40:13.Τίς γὰρ ἔγνω νοῦν κυρίου; ἢ τίς σύμβουλος αὐτοῦ ἐγένετο;“Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been His counselor?”35Of wie het vooraf aan Hom gegee, sodat dit aan hom vergeld sal word?aAanhaling uit Job 41:11.ἢ τίς προέδωκεν αὐτῷ, καὶ ἀνταποδοθήσεται αὐτῷ;“Who has first given to God, that God should repay him?”36Want uit Hom en deur Hom en tot Hom is alle dinge.
