1Moses het die hele vergadering van die Israeliete bymekaar laat kom en vir hulle gesê: “Dit is die woorde wat die HERE beveel het om te doen.וַיַּקְהֵ֣ל מֹשֶׁ֗ה אֶֽת־כָּל־עֲדַ֛ת בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵהֶ֑ם אֵ֚לֶּה הַדְּבָרִ֔ים אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה לַעֲשֹׂ֥ת אֹתָֽם׃Then Moses assembled the whole congregation of Israel and said to them, “These are the things that the LORD has commanded you to do: 2Ses dae lank moet werk gedoen word, maar op die sewende dag moet dit vir julle heilig wees, 'n sabbat van volkome rus vir die HERE. Elkeen wat op daardie dag werk doen, moet doodgemaak word.שֵׁ֣שֶׁת יָמִים֮ תֵּעָשֶׂ֣ה מְלָאכָה֒ וּבַיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י יִהְיֶ֨ה לָכֶ֥ם קֹ֛דֶשׁ שַׁבַּ֥ת שַׁבָּת֖וֹן לַיהוָ֑ה כָּל־הָעֹשֶׂ֥ה ב֛וֹ מְלָאכָ֖ה יוּמָֽת׃For six days work may be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of complete rest to the LORD. 4Moses het met die hele vergadering van die Israeliete gespreek en gesê: “Dit is die woord wat die HERE beveel het:וַיֹּ֣אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֔ה אֶל־כָּל־עֲדַ֥ת בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר זֶ֣ה הַדָּבָ֔ר אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃Moses also told the whole congregation of Israel, “This is what the LORD has commanded: 5Neem uit julle midde 'n offergawe vir die HERE. Elkeen wie se hart gewillig is, moet dit bring, die offergawe van die HERE: goud en silwer en brons,קְח֨וּ מֵֽאִתְּכֶ֤ם תְּרוּמָה֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה כֹּ֚ל נְדִ֣יב לִבּ֔וֹ יְבִיאֶ֕הָ אֵ֖ת תְּרוּמַ֣ת יְהוָ֑ה זָהָ֥ב וָכֶ֖סֶף וּנְחֹֽשֶׁת׃Take from among you an offering to the LORD. Let everyone whose heart is willing bring an offering to the LORD: gold, silver, and bronze; 6en blou-purper en rooi-purper en skarlakenrooi en fyn linne en bokhaar,וּתְכֵ֧לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן וְתוֹלַ֥עַת שָׁנִ֖י וְשֵׁ֥שׁ וְעִזִּֽים׃blue, purple, and scarlet yarn; fine linen and goat hair; 7en rooigekleurde ramsvelle en robbevelle en akasiahout,

וְעֹרֹ֨ת אֵילִ֧ם מְאָדָּמִ֛ים וְעֹרֹ֥ת תְּחָשִׁ֖ים וַעֲצֵ֥י שִׂטִּֽים׃ram skins dyed red and fine leather; acacia wood; 8en olie vir die lig en speserye vir die salfolie en vir die geurige reukwerk,וְשֶׁ֖מֶן לַמָּא֑וֹר וּבְשָׂמִים֙ לְשֶׁ֣מֶן הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ה וְלִקְטֹ֖רֶת הַסַּמִּֽים׃olive oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense; 9en onikstene en inlegstene vir die efod en vir die borsskild.וְאַ֨בְנֵי־שֹׁ֔הַם וְאַבְנֵ֖י מִלֻּאִ֑ים לָאֵפ֖וֹד וְלַחֹֽשֶׁן׃and onyx stones and gemstones to be mounted on the ephod and breastpiece. 10En elkeen onder julle wat wys van hart is, moet kom en alles maak wat die HERE beveel het:וְכָל־חֲכַם־לֵ֖ב בָּכֶ֑ם יָבֹ֣אוּ וְיַעֲשׂ֔וּ אֵ֛ת כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר צִוָּ֖ה יְהוָֽה׃Let every skilled craftsman among you come and make everything that the LORD has commanded: 11die tabernakel, sy tent en sy dekkleed, sy hakies en sy rame, sy dwarsbalke, sy pilare en sy voetstukke;אֶת־הַ֨מִּשְׁכָּ֔ן אֶֽת־אָהֳל֖וֹ וְאֶת־מִכְסֵ֑הוּ אֶת־קְרָסָיו֙ וְאֶת־קְרָשָׁ֔יו אֶת־בְּרִיחָ֕ו אֶת־עַמֻּדָ֖יו וְאֶת־אֲדָנָֽיו׃the tabernacle with its tent and covering, its clasps and frames, its crossbars, posts, and bases; 12die ark en sy draagstokke, die versoendeksel en die voorhangsel van die skerm;אֶת־הָאָרֹ֥ן וְאֶת־בַּדָּ֖יו אֶת־הַכַּפֹּ֑רֶת וְאֵ֖ת פָּרֹ֥כֶת הַמָּסָֽךְ׃the ark with its poles and mercy seat, and the veil to shield it; 13die tafel en sy draagstokke en al sy gerei, en die brood van die aangesig;אֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָ֥ן וְאֶת־בַּדָּ֖יו וְאֶת־כָּל־כֵּלָ֑יו וְאֵ֖ת לֶ֥חֶם הַפָּנִֽים׃the table with its poles, all its utensils, and the Bread of the Presence; 14en die kandelaar vir die lig en sy gerei en sy lampe, en die olie vir die lig;וְאֶת־מְנֹרַ֧ת הַמָּא֛וֹר וְאֶת־כֵּלֶ֖יהָ וְאֶת־נֵרֹתֶ֑יהָ וְאֵ֖ת שֶׁ֥מֶן הַמָּאֽוֹר׃the lampstand for light with its accessories and lamps and oil for the light; 15en die altaar van die reukwerk en sy draagstokke, en die salfolie en die geurige reukwerk, en die skerm van die ingang by die ingang van die tabernakel;וְאֶת־מִזְבַּ֤ח הַקְּטֹ֨רֶת֙ וְאֶת־בַּדָּ֔יו וְאֵת֙ שֶׁ֣מֶן הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ה וְאֵ֖ת קְטֹ֣רֶת הַסַּמִּ֑ים וְאֶת־מָסַ֥ךְ הַפֶּ֖תַח לְפֶ֥תַח הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃the altar of incense with its poles; the anointing oil and fragrant incense; the curtain for the doorway at the entrance to the tabernacle; 16die brandofferaltaar en die bronsrooster wat daarby behoort, sy draaghoute en al sy gereedskap, die waskom en sy onderstel;אֵ֣ת׀ מִזְבַּ֣ח הָעֹלָ֗ה וְאֶת־מִכְבַּ֤ר הַנְּחֹ֨שֶׁת֙ אֲשֶׁר־ל֔וֹ אֶת־בַּדָּ֖יו וְאֶת־כָּל־כֵּלָ֑יו אֶת־הַכִּיֹּ֖ר וְאֶת־כַּנּֽוֹ׃the altar of burnt offering with its bronze grate, its poles, and all its utensils; the basin with its stand; 17die behangsels van die voorhof, sy pilare en sy voetstukke en die gordyn van die poort van die voorhof;אֵ֚ת קַלְעֵ֣י הֶחָצֵ֔ר אֶת־עַמֻּדָ֖יו וְאֶת־אֲדָנֶ֑יהָ וְאֵ֕ת מָסַ֖ךְ שַׁ֥עַר הֶחָצֵֽר׃the curtains of the courtyard with its posts and bases, and the curtain for the gate of the courtyard; 18die penne van die tabernakel en die penne van die voorhof en hulle toue;אֶת־יִתְדֹ֧ת הַמִּשְׁכָּ֛ן וְאֶת־יִתְדֹ֥ת הֶחָצֵ֖ר וְאֶת־מֵיתְרֵיהֶֽם׃the tent pegs for the tabernacle and for the courtyard, along with their ropes; 19die gewade van vlegwerk om in die heiligdom te dien, die heilige gewade vir Aäron, die priester, en die gewade van sy seuns om as priesters te dien.”אֶת־בִּגְדֵ֥י הַשְּׂרָ֖ד לְשָׁרֵ֣ת בַּקֹּ֑דֶשׁ אֶת־בִּגְדֵ֤י הַקֹּ֨דֶשׁ֙ לְאַהֲרֹ֣ן הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְאֶת־בִּגְדֵ֥י בָנָ֖יו לְכַהֵֽן׃and the woven garments for ministering in the holy place—both the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons to serve as priests.”

20Toe het die hele vergadering van die Israeliete uit die teenwoordigheid van Moses weggegaan.וַיֵּֽצְא֛וּ כָּל־עֲדַ֥ת בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מִלִּפְנֵ֥י מֹשֶֽׁה׃Then the whole congregation of Israel withdrew from the presence of Moses. 21En hulle het gekom, elkeen wie se hart hom aangespoor het, en elkeen wie se gees hom gewillig gemaak het; hulle het die offergawe van die HERE gebring vir die werk aan die tent van samekoms en vir al sy diens en vir die heilige klere.

וַיָּבֹ֕אוּ כָּל־אִ֖ישׁ אֲשֶׁר־נְשָׂא֣וֹ לִבּ֑וֹ וְכֹ֡ל אֲשֶׁר֩ נָדְבָ֨ה רוּח֜וֹ אֹת֗וֹ הֵ֠בִיאוּ אֶת־תְּרוּמַ֨ת יְהוָ֜ה לִמְלֶ֨אכֶת אֹ֤הֶל מוֹעֵד֙ וּלְכָל־עֲבֹ֣דָת֔וֹ וּלְבִגְדֵ֖י הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃And everyone whose heart stirred him and whose spirit prompted him came and brought an offering to the LORD for the work on the Tent of Meeting, for all its services, and for the holy garments. 22Die mans het saam met die vroue gekom; elkeen met 'n gewillige hart het gebring: gespes en neusringe en seëlringe en halskettings, allerhande goue voorwerpe; ook elkeen wat 'n goue wuifoffer vir die HERE gewuif het.

וַיָּבֹ֥אוּ הָאֲנָשִׁ֖ים עַל־הַנָּשִׁ֑ים כֹּ֣ל׀ נְדִ֣יב לֵ֗ב הֵ֠בִיאוּ חָ֣ח וָנֶ֜זֶם וְטַבַּ֤עַת וְכוּמָז֙ כָּל־כְּלִ֣י זָהָ֔ב וְכָל־אִ֕ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֵנִ֛יף תְּנוּפַ֥ת זָהָ֖ב לַיהוָֽה׃So all who had willing hearts, both men and women, came and brought brooches and earrings, rings and necklaces, and all kinds of gold jewelry. And they all presented their gold as a wave offering to the LORD. 23En elkeen by wie blou-purper en rooi-purper en skarlakenrooi en fyn linne en bokhaar en rooigekleurde ramsvelle en robbevelle gevind is, het dit gebring.וְכָל־אִ֞ישׁ אֲשֶׁר־נִמְצָ֣א אִתּ֗וֹ תְּכֵ֧לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן וְתוֹלַ֥עַת שָׁנִ֖י וְשֵׁ֣שׁ וְעִזִּ֑ים וְעֹרֹ֨ת אֵילִ֧ם מְאָדָּמִ֛ים וְעֹרֹ֥ת תְּחָשִׁ֖ים הֵבִֽיאוּ׃Everyone who had blue, purple, or scarlet yarn, or fine linen, goat hair, ram skins dyed red, or articles of fine leather, brought them. 24Elkeen wat 'n offergawe van silwer en koper opgehef het, het dit as offergawe van die HERE gebring; en elkeen by wie akasiahout gevind is vir al die werk van die diens, het dit gebring.כָּל־מֵרִ֗ים תְּר֤וּמַת כֶּ֨סֶף֙ וּנְחֹ֔שֶׁת הֵבִ֕יאוּ אֵ֖ת תְּרוּמַ֣ת יְהוָ֑ה וְכֹ֡ל אֲשֶׁר֩ נִמְצָ֨א אִתּ֜וֹ עֲצֵ֥י שִׁטִּ֛ים לְכָל־מְלֶ֥אכֶת הָעֲבֹדָ֖ה הֵבִֽיאוּ׃And all who could present an offering of silver or bronze brought it as a contribution to the LORD. Also, everyone who had acacia wood for any part of the service brought it. 25En elke vrou wat wys van hart was, het met haar hande gespin, en hulle het die spinsel gebring: die blou, die purper, die karmosynrooi en die fyn linne.וְכָל־אִשָּׁ֥ה חַכְמַת־לֵ֖ב בְּיָדֶ֣יהָ טָו֑וּ וַיָּבִ֣יאוּ מַטְוֶ֗ה אֶֽת־הַתְּכֵ֨לֶת֙ וְאֶת־הָֽאַרְגָּמָ֔ן אֶת־תּוֹלַ֥עַת הַשָּׁנִ֖י וְאֶת־הַשֵּֽׁשׁ׃Every skilled woman spun with her hands and brought what she had spun: blue, purple, or scarlet yarn, or fine linen. 26En al die vroue wie se hart hulle aangespoor het, het met wysheid die bokhaar gespin.

וְכָל־הַ֨נָּשִׁ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר נָשָׂ֥א לִבָּ֛ן אֹתָ֖נָה בְּחָכְמָ֑ה טָו֖וּ אֶת־הָעִזִּֽים׃And all the skilled women whose hearts were stirred spun the goat hair. 27En die leiers het die onikstene en die inlegstene vir die efod en vir die borsskild gebring,וְהַנְּשִׂאִ֣ם הֵבִ֔יאוּ אֵ֚ת אַבְנֵ֣י הַשֹּׁ֔הַם וְאֵ֖ת אַבְנֵ֣י הַמִּלֻּאִ֑ים לָאֵפ֖וֹד וְלַחֹֽשֶׁן׃The leaders brought onyx stones and gemstones to mount on the ephod and breastpiece, 28en die speserye en die olie, vir die lig en vir die salfolie en vir die geurige reukwerk.וְאֶת־הַבֹּ֖שֶׂם וְאֶת־הַשָּׁ֑מֶן לְמָא֕וֹר וּלְשֶׁ֨מֶן֙ הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ה וְלִקְטֹ֖רֶת הַסַּמִּֽים׃as well as spices and olive oil for the light, for the anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense. 29Elke man en vrou wie se hart hulle gewillig gemaak het om te bring vir al die werk wat die HERE deur die hand van Moses beveel het om te doen: die Israeliete het 'n vrywillige gawe vir die HERE gebring.כָּל־אִ֣ישׁ וְאִשָּׁ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר נָדַ֣ב לִבָּם֮ אֹתָם֒ לְהָבִיא֙ לְכָל־הַמְּלָאכָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה לַעֲשׂ֖וֹת בְּיַד־מֹשֶׁ֑ה הֵבִ֧יאוּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל נְדָבָ֖ה לַיהוָֽה׃ פSo all the men and women of the Israelites whose hearts prompted them brought a freewill offering to the LORD for all the work that the LORD through Moses had commanded them to do.

30Moses het vir die Israeliete gesê: “Kyk, die HERE het Besaleël, die seun van Uri, die seun van Hur, van die stam Juda, by die naam geroep.וַיֹּ֤אמֶר מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל רְא֛וּ קָרָ֥א יְהוָ֖ה בְּשֵׁ֑ם בְּצַלְאֵ֛ל בֶּן־אוּרִ֥י בֶן־ח֖וּר לְמַטֵּ֥ה יְהוּדָֽה׃Then Moses said to the Israelites, “See, the LORD has called by name Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. 31en Hy het hom gevul met die Gees van God, met wysheid, met insig en met kennis en in allerhande werk,וַיְמַלֵּ֥א אֹת֖וֹ ר֣וּחַ אֱלֹהִ֑ים בְּחָכְמָ֛ה בִּתְבוּנָ֥ה וּבְדַ֖עַת וּבְכָל־מְלָאכָֽה׃And He has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability, and knowledge in all kinds of craftsmanship, 32om ontwerpe uit te dink, om in goud en in silwer en in brons te werk,וְלַחְשֹׁ֖ב מַֽחַשָׁבֹ֑ת לַעֲשֹׂ֛ת בַּזָּהָ֥ב וּבַכֶּ֖סֶף וּבַנְּחֹֽשֶׁת׃to design artistic works in gold, silver, and bronze, 33en in die sny van stene om in te lê, en in die snywerk van hout, om te werk in allerhande ontwerpwerk.וּבַחֲרֹ֥שֶׁת אֶ֛בֶן לְמַלֹּ֖את וּבַחֲרֹ֣שֶׁת עֵ֑ץ לַעֲשׂ֖וֹת בְּכָל־מְלֶ֥אכֶת מַחֲשָֽׁבֶת׃to cut gemstones for settings, and to carve wood, so that he may be a master of every artistic craft. 34Ook het Hy in sy hart gegee om te onderrig, hom en Oholiab, die seun van Ahisamak, van die stam Dan.וּלְהוֹרֹ֖ת נָתַ֣ן בְּלִבּ֑וֹ ה֕וּא וְאָֽהֳלִיאָ֥ב בֶּן־אֲחִיסָמָ֖ךְ לְמַטֵּה־דָֽן׃And the LORD has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others. 35Hy het hulle vervul met wysheid van hart om allerhande werk te doen van die ambagsman en die ontwerper en die borduurder in blou en in purper, in karmosynrooi en in fyn linne, en die wewer: doeners van allerhande werk en bedinkers van ontwerpe.”מִלֵּ֨א אֹתָ֜ם חָכְמַת־לֵ֗ב לַעֲשׂוֹת֮ כָּל־מְלֶ֣אכֶת חָרָ֣שׁ׀ וְחֹשֵׁב֒ וְרֹקֵ֞ם בַּתְּכֵ֣לֶת וּבָֽאַרְגָּמָ֗ן בְּתוֹלַ֧עַת הַשָּׁנִ֛י וּבַשֵּׁ֖שׁ וְאֹרֵ֑ג עֹשֵׂי֙ כָּל־מְלָאכָ֔ה וְחֹשְׁבֵ֖י מַחֲשָׁבֹֽת׃He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and as weavers—as artistic designers of every kind of craft.
