וּמָשַׁחְתָּ֛ אֶת־מִזְבַּ֥ח הָעֹלָ֖ה וְאֶת־כָּל־כֵּלָ֑יו וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֙ אֶת־הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ וְהָיָ֥ה הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ קֹ֥דֶשׁ קָֽדָשִֽׁים׃Anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils; consecrate the altar, and it shall be most holy. 11En jy moet die waskom en sy voetstuk salf en dit heilig.וּמָשַׁחְתָּ֥ אֶת־הַכִּיֹּ֖ר וְאֶת־כַּנּ֑וֹ וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֖ אֹתֽוֹ׃Anoint the basin and its stand and consecrate them. 12En jy moet Aäron en sy seuns na die ingang van die tent van samekoms laat nader kom en hulle met water was.וְהִקְרַבְתָּ֤ אֶֽת־אַהֲרֹן֙ וְאֶת־בָּנָ֔יו אֶל־פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וְרָחַצְתָּ֥ אֹתָ֖ם בַּמָּֽיִם׃Then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and wash them with water. 13En jy moet Aäron die heilige klere aantrek en hom salf en hom heilig, en hy moet vir My as priester dien.וְהִלְבַּשְׁתָּ֙ אֶֽת־אַהֲרֹ֔ן אֵ֖ת בִּגְדֵ֣י הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וּמָשַׁחְתָּ֥ אֹת֛וֹ וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֥ אֹת֖וֹ וְכִהֵ֥ן לִֽי׃And you are to clothe Aaron with the holy garments, anoint him, and consecrate him, so that he may serve Me as a priest. 14En sy seuns moet jy laat nader kom en hulle die tunieke aantrek.וְאֶת־בָּנָ֖יו תַּקְרִ֑יב וְהִלְבַּשְׁתָּ֥ אֹתָ֖ם כֻּתֳּנֹֽת׃Bring his sons forward and clothe them with tunics. 15En jy moet hulle salf soos jy hulle vader gesalf het, en hulle moet vir My as priesters dien; en dit sal wees dat hulle salwing vir hulle tot 'n ewige priesterskap sal wees, deur hulle geslagte heen.”וּמָשַׁחְתָּ֣ אֹתָ֗ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר מָשַׁ֨חְתָּ֙ אֶת־אֲבִיהֶ֔ם וְכִהֲנ֖וּ לִ֑י וְ֠הָיְתָה לִהְיֹ֨ת לָהֶ֧ם מָשְׁחָתָ֛ם לִכְהֻנַּ֥ת עוֹלָ֖ם לְדֹרֹתָֽם׃Anoint them just as you anointed their father, so that they may also serve Me as priests. Their anointing will qualify them for a permanent priesthood throughout their generations.”

16En Moses het gedoen volgens alles wat die HERE hom beveel het; so het hy gedoen.וַיַּ֖עַשׂ מֹשֶׁ֑ה כְּ֠כֹל אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה אֹת֖וֹ כֵּ֥ן עָשָֽׂה׃ סMoses did everything just as the LORD had commanded him.

17En dit het gebeur in die eerste maand, in die tweede jaar, op die eerste van die maand, dat die tabernakel opgerig is.וַיְהִ֞י בַּחֹ֧דֶשׁ הָרִאשׁ֛וֹן בַּשָּׁנָ֥ה הַשֵּׁנִ֖ית בְּאֶחָ֣ד לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ הוּקַ֖ם הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃So the tabernacle was set up on the first day of the first month of the second year. 18En Moses het die tabernakel opgerig en sy voetstukke neergesit en sy planke geplaas en sy dwarsbalke ingesit en sy pilare opgerig.וַיָּ֨קֶם מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֗ן וַיִּתֵּן֙ אֶת־אֲדָנָ֔יו וַיָּ֨שֶׂם֙ אֶת־קְרָשָׁ֔יו וַיִּתֵּ֖ן אֶת־בְּרִיחָ֑יו וַיָּ֖קֶם אֶת־עַמּוּדָֽיו׃When Moses set up the tabernacle, he laid its bases, positioned its frames, inserted its crossbars, and set up its posts. 19En hy het die tent oor die tabernakel uitgespan en die dekkleed van die tent bo-oor dit gesit, soos die HERE Moses beveel het.וַיִּפְרֹ֤שׂ אֶת־הָאֹ֨הֶל֙ עַל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן וַיָּ֜שֶׂם אֶת־מִכְסֵ֥ה הָאֹ֛הֶל עָלָ֖יו מִלְמָ֑עְלָה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ סThen he spread the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering over the tent, just as the LORD had commanded him. 20Hy het die getuienis geneem en in die ark gesit, en hy het die draagstokke aan die ark gesit, en hy het die versoendeksel bo-op die ark gesit.וַיִּקַּ֞ח וַיִּתֵּ֤ן אֶת־הָעֵדֻת֙ אֶל־הָ֣אָרֹ֔ן וַיָּ֥שֶׂם אֶת־הַבַּדִּ֖ים עַל־הָאָרֹ֑ן וַיִּתֵּ֧ן אֶת־הַכַּפֹּ֛רֶת עַל־הָאָרֹ֖ן מִלְמָֽעְלָה׃Moses took the Testimony and placed it in the ark, attaching the poles to the ark; and he set the mercy seat atop the ark. 21Hy het die ark in die tabernakel ingebring en die voorhangsel van die skerm opgehang en die ark van die getuienis afgeskerm, soos die HERE Moses beveel het.וַיָּבֵ֣א אֶת־הָאָרֹן֮ אֶל־הַמִּשְׁכָּן֒ וַיָּ֗שֶׂם אֵ֚ת פָּרֹ֣כֶת הַמָּסָ֔ךְ וַיָּ֕סֶךְ עַ֖ל אֲר֣וֹן הָעֵד֑וּת כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ סThen he brought the ark into the tabernacle, put up the veil for the screen, and shielded off the ark of the Testimony, just as the LORD had commanded him. 22Hy het die tafel in die tent van samekoms gesit, aan die kant van die tabernakel, noordwaarts, buite die voorhangsel.וַיִּתֵּ֤ן אֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָן֙ בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד עַ֛ל יֶ֥רֶךְ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן צָפֹ֑נָה מִח֖וּץ לַפָּרֹֽכֶת׃Moses placed the table in the Tent of Meeting on the north side of the tabernacle, outside the veil. 23Hy het daarop 'n rangskikking brood gerangskik voor die aangesig van die HERE, soos die HERE Moses beveel het.וַיַּעֲרֹ֥ךְ עָלָ֛יו עֵ֥רֶךְ לֶ֖חֶם לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ סHe arranged the bread on it before the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded him. 24Hy het die kandelaar in die tent van samekoms gesit, teenoor die tafel, aan die kant van die tabernakel, suidwaarts.וַיָּ֤שֶׂם אֶת־הַמְּנֹרָה֙ בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד נֹ֖כַח הַשֻּׁלְחָ֑ן עַ֛ל יֶ֥רֶךְ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן נֶֽגְבָּה׃He also placed the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle 25Hy het die lampe opgesit voor die aangesig van die HERE, soos die HERE Moses beveel het.וַיַּ֥עַל הַנֵּרֹ֖ת לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ סand set up the lamps before the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded him.

26En hy het die goue altaar in die tent van samekoms gesit, voor die voorhangsel.וַיָּ֛שֶׂם אֶת־מִזְבַּ֥ח הַזָּהָ֖ב בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד לִפְנֵ֖י הַפָּרֹֽכֶת׃Moses placed the gold altar in the Tent of Meeting, in front of the veil, 27En hy het daarop reukwerk van speserye gebrand, soos die HERE Moses beveel het.וַיַּקְטֵ֥ר עָלָ֖יו קְטֹ֣רֶת סַמִּ֑ים כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ פand he burned fragrant incense on it, just as the LORD had commanded him.

28En hy het die gordyn van die ingang vir die tabernakel aangebring.וַיָּ֛שֶׂם אֶת־מָסַ֥ךְ הַפֶּ֖תַח לַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃Then he put up the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle. 29En die altaar van die brandoffer het hy by die ingang van die tabernakel van die tent van samekoms geplaas, en hy het daarop die brandoffer en die graanoffer opgebring, soos die HERE Moses beveel het.וְאֵת֙ מִזְבַּ֣ח הָעֹלָ֔ה שָׂ֕ם פֶּ֖תַח מִשְׁכַּ֣ן אֹֽהֶל־מוֹעֵ֑ד וַיַּ֣עַל עָלָ֗יו אֶת־הָעֹלָה֙ וְאֶת־הַמִּנְחָ֔ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ סHe placed the altar of burnt offering near the entrance to the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the grain offering, just as the LORD had commanded him. 30Hy het die wasbak tussen die tent van samekoms en die altaar gesit, en hy het daar water in gesit om mee te was.וַיָּ֨שֶׂם֙ אֶת־הַכִּיֹּ֔ר בֵּֽין־אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד וּבֵ֣ין הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וַיִּתֵּ֥ן שָׁ֛מָּה מַ֖יִם לְרָחְצָֽה׃He placed the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar and put water in it for washing; 31En Moses en Aäron en sy seuns het daaruit hulle hande en hulle voete gewas.וְרָחֲצ֣וּ מִמֶּ֔נּוּ מֹשֶׁ֖ה וְאַהֲרֹ֣ן וּבָנָ֑יו אֶת־יְדֵיהֶ֖ם וְאֶת־רַגְלֵיהֶֽם׃and from it Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and feet. 32Wanneer hulle in die tent van samekoms ingegaan het en wanneer hulle na die altaar nader gekom het, het hulle gewas, soos die HERE Moses beveel het.בְּבֹאָ֞ם אֶל־אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֗ד וּבְקָרְבָתָ֛ם אֶל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ יִרְחָ֑צוּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ סThey washed whenever they entered the Tent of Meeting or approached the altar, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

33En hy het die voorhof rondom die tabernakel en die altaar opgerig en die gordyn van die poort van die voorhof aangebring. So het Moses die werk voltooi.וַיָּ֣קֶם אֶת־הֶחָצֵ֗ר סָבִיב֙ לַמִּשְׁכָּ֣ן וְלַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ וַיִּתֵּ֕ן אֶת־מָסַ֖ךְ שַׁ֣עַר הֶחָצֵ֑ר וַיְכַ֥ל מֹשֶׁ֖ה אֶת־הַמְּלָאכָֽה׃ פAnd Moses set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and the altar, and he hung the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard. So Moses finished the work.

34Toe het die wolk die tent van samekoms bedek, en die heerlikheid van die HERE het die tabernakel gevul.וַיְכַ֥ס הֶעָנָ֖ן אֶת־אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וּכְב֣וֹד יְהוָ֔ה מָלֵ֖א אֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. 35En Moses kon nie in die tent van samekoms ingaan nie, want die wolk het daarop gewoon, en die heerlikheid van die HERE het die tabernakel gevul.וְלֹא־יָכֹ֣ל מֹשֶׁ֗ה לָבוֹא֙ אֶל־אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד כִּֽי־שָׁכַ֥ן עָלָ֖יו הֶעָנָ֑ן וּכְב֣וֹד יְהוָ֔ה מָלֵ֖א אֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃Moses was unable to enter the Tent of Meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

36En wanneer die wolk van die tabernakel af opgetrek het, het die Israeliete weggetrek, op al hulle togte.וּבְהֵעָל֤וֹת הֶֽעָנָן֙ מֵעַ֣ל הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן יִסְע֖וּ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל בְּכֹ֖ל מַסְעֵיהֶֽם׃Whenever the cloud was lifted from above the tabernacle, the Israelites would set out through all the stages of their journey. 37Maar as die wolk nie opgetrek het nie, het hulle nie weggetrek nie, tot op die dag dat dit opgetrek het.וְאִם־לֹ֥א יֵעָלֶ֖ה הֶעָנָ֑ן וְלֹ֣א יִסְע֔וּ עַד־י֖וֹם הֵעָלֹתֽוֹ׃If the cloud was not lifted, they would not set out until the day it was taken up. 38Want die wolk van die HERE was bedags op die tabernakel, en vuur was snags daarin, voor die oë van die hele huis van Israel, op al hulle togte.כִּי֩ עֲנַ֨ן יְהוָ֤ה עַֽל־הַמִּשְׁכָּן֙ יוֹמָ֔ם וְאֵ֕שׁ תִּהְיֶ֥ה לַ֖יְלָה בּ֑וֹ לְעֵינֵ֥י כָל־בֵּֽית־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בְּכָל־מַסְעֵיהֶֽם׃For the cloud of the LORD was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel through all their journeys.
